I just posted on Instagram that this is a huge challenge for me. I have no idea how gmails I have. I know my MSN account probably is back up over 10,000! I’m almost as bad with paper mail. I have missed very important things in both area. Time to start digging

I recently changed email providers, so my inbox is in decent shape. However–this was a great reminder to set up folders before it gets overwhelming and to take the last couple steps so that I know when I can delete the old addresses!

This is going to take me a while. But I will conquer the emails!

Additional tip when my kids let it pileup: Search a sender that has sent a lot that you don’t need. Select all and delete the whole bunch!

I commented on IG that I loved the old days with Outlook. I could flag an email and add a reminder to deal with it at a better time. I can’t seem to figure out a way to do the same in Gmail, but I did install Tasks today. It’s a little more tedious than Outlook was, but it might be a decent workaround.
I did try to get Outlook, but it appears it’s only for work and school account now.

FINALLY! I DID IT!

This assignment is going to take some time. I thought I had a good system in place, but without routine maintenance, it has become quite a mess.

It happens to all of us!

I’m team “This Is Going To Take A While”.
I’m going to schedule 15 minutes a day for the rest of the month until it’s cleared out. It will be a huge relief to accomplish this. You know it’s bad when your middle schooler is mocking your unread message count.-
I cringe when I see my kids’ 1094 unread messages notice. Yikes! You can do it!
Keep in mind you can search an address, unsubscribe, and then mass delete.
