I read a bit of your blog about fighting the frump – haha.
I did Stitch Fix many years ago and wasn’t impressed. I decided to give it another chance a couple months ago (they have a lot more options now and a “preview your fix” feature) and I’ve been very happy with what I’ve gotten. It has definitely freshened up my wardrobe. (Goodbye pandemic grey – hello Spring color!)

I do need to take some time and make decisions about things I haven’t worn in years.

Okay, I went thru Spring/Summer clothes. I’m getting rid of three tops that have holes in them, an old pair of pants I never liked but wore anyway and are worn out and (drum roll….) a MATERNITY sweater! I won’t say how long it’s been since I was last pregnant. To be fair you can’t tell it’s a maternity sweater but it’s pill-y, grey and symbolic. I need to let it go.
I’m making a note in my day planner to do this again for Fall/Winter.
Thanks for the kick in the pants to get this done, Jessica. : )

I too liked the fight the frump blog. I have other stuff in my closet to give another look, lots of purses included. My closet is a storage ground for many guitars, I don’t know when they will go to a new home so I make use of limited clothing space and keep it thinned out. I don’t dress up very often but could use a wardrobe makeover in the shorts dept., mu jeans are ok to wear when I’m not too lazy and opt for the capris that should be gym clothes. I will figure this out as the weeks go along. Thanks for the tips. Would love to hear from others their experiences.

Jessica, sometimes I get confused on your different websites. I thought you said that the Life as Mom site was not active anymore. Or did you mean you no longer post new info on it??? Then there is FishMama.com and good cheap eats.com. Can you explain the purpose of the 3 websites?? One time I was trying to find my courses on GCE site and was so frustrated I couldn’t find it. Then somehow got to fish mama and found it. I used to read on Life As Mom a few years ago and loved it!

Hey Karen. LAM has been “inactive” in the sense that there hasn’t been regular new content as we’ve been focusing our attention on GCE. We hope to change that in the next year or two. It’s just me and my husband so there’s only so much we can do. FM is the store site for all courses and parenting/family products. Most of the food products and the Club membership are over on GCE.

I think you and your husband are doing a phenomenal job!!! I was just getting confused. Thanks for explaining!!
