The holiday season is just around the corner. Say what?
Last year you swore you'd be ready this year.
You promised yourself that next year you'd get your plans in action so that you could enjoy the season, but next year is already here!
Just as soon as the jack o' lanterns' candles are snuffed out, it's time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's to come knocking on the door. And sometimes it feels like another round of Trick or Treat, doesn't it? Or maybe it's Groundhog Day?
Everyday life is already so busy, how can you possibly add in all the feasting and frolicking of the holidays -- and stay sane?
It most definitely tempts you to say, "Bah Humbug!" doesn't it? If you don't plan well, the holiday season can easily become overwhelming with all the ways you try to make your celebrations memorable and meaningful…
That last part is the kicker. There’s still grocery shopping and meal planning and regular everyday kitchen responsibilities to deal with – and then add the holidays to the mix?!
Your every day is already busy, but boy, oh boy! The upcoming months are sure to be busier. Maybe even a bit crazy! Bah humbug!
The Holiday Season officially begins in...
It’s true the holiday season comes through in a whirlwind, but it is also one of the most special times of the year. You don’t need to be a Scrooge about it. Forget your Bah-humbugs.
Get your game on!
That's right. Get ready for it. Time to dust off your jingle bells and plan for a good time. Yes, really!
- No more do you scramble around wondering what to bring to the company holiday potluck.
- No more do you freak yourself out trying to get ready for a big turkey dinner.
- No more do you fret about getting dinner on the table while making your list and checking it twice.
This year, step off the cold, tinsel-laden roller coaster and sit for a spell.
Enjoy a cookie and a warm cuppa, knowing that your holiday kitchen won't be crazy and YOU won't be running ragged. You CAN serve every day dinners and fantastic feasts without getting your name on the Naughty List.
Take the Celebrate Simply Workshop and ease your holiday stress. Set yourself up for success this season.
In this focused, two-week workshop, you’ll identify your holiday priorities and set up systems that will carry you through the next two months without freaking out or resorting to your best Scrooge impersonation.
We'll start Sunday, November 4th and end on Friday, November 16th, 2018.
Together we’ll work to create your Holiday Success Kit, a resource you’ll be able to refer to all season long to coordinate weekly meal planning, special holiday meals, and all that yummy baking you never seem to have enough time for.
Via live video coaching calls and a private chat group, you and I, along with other home cooks, will work together in a community to share ideas, swap strategies, and troubleshoot the pains that might ache during the holidays – before they happen.
There will be five coaching calls during our workshop time, at 3 pm PST on the kick-off Sunday and on each of the Tuesdays and Thursdays during the workshop. The calls will be recorded so that you can catch the replays or rewatch them at your leisure.
Alongside other clever cooks, you'll also build a little stash of goodies in your freezer to get a jump on your kitchen chores.
Are you ready to buy yourself some time this holiday season?
You might not think you have time to take a workshop, but do you really have time to stress about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s? I didn't think so.
Free your time this holiday season so that you can ENJOY the festivities and people who matter most.
I'm Jessica Fisher, cookbook author and mom to six kids. I'm also a recovering Holiday Over-doer. For years, I built huge to-do lists to rival the likes of Martha's everywhere. I stayed up late, crafting and baking, cooking and stewing -- stewing in my own frustration!
I should have been enjoying time with my family, but I just had "one more thing to do"!
Finally, I came to my senses. I realized that "Enough is as good as a feast."
We still enjoy a festive holiday, but I don't freak out making it happen. We celebrate simply and we enjoy every minute of it.
I want to help you do the same this holiday season.
Celebrate Simply is part of a series of workshops designed to help you make the most of your time in the kitchen, so that you can eat well, save money, and enjoy more of the important things and people in your life.
Here's what past workshop participants are saying:
I really loved the interaction and being able to cheer each other on...
The ideas and strategies that I picked up from the workshop and the other participants are very helpful. Doing the workshop forced me to take control of my kitchen space and create a good plan for my family.
Erin Lotz // Mother of 2
I loved the interactive video sessions...
and how Jessica answered our questions so thoughtfully. It was SO helpful; what's said in passing can be a catalyst for some of the biggest changes!

Make this season the most wonderful time of the year.
Save the Dates: November 4 to 16, 2018
We'll kick off this intensive workshop with a live coaching call on Sunday, November 4, at 3 pm. PST. The call will be recorded in case you can't catch it live.
The cost of the workshop is $27.
I can't wait to see how it all comes together for you this season as you:
