I love this exercise! I did MKS in 2020, and I’ve used the info from the work I did in that course fairly consistently since then. It’s really cool to see how my tastes have changed/stayed the same. (And it’s fun to be reminded of things that I really enjoy, that I haven’t eaten in a while!) The main thing I’m seeing this time around is that I give my dear, sweet husband priority over ALL the protein leftovers. Yet, he works from home and can make a sandwich or snacky meal with ease. I work outside the home and need quick lunches to take to work. So I think I need to be keeping the proteins for myself for Mom Salads…and perhaps making extra protein for us to share. Good a-ha! As usual, I tend to prioritize my family’s mealtime needs over my own. Mom Food to the rescue!! Great planning worksheets, Jessica! This section feels VERY important. 🙂

Very astute aha, Brooke! I’m so glad you saw that. ❤️

What advice do you have for keeping Mom Food accessible but not letting it go to waste? I’m specifically thinking about salads. I want to have the toppings readily available, but I’m concerned I won’t go through them quickly enough and won’t always be able to plan accurately how much to prep.

Great thing to watch out for! I would start small and see how quickly you use things up. It will be trial and error until you find a groove.
